Top Ten Bestselling Shoes through the years

This month marks ten years since The Perfect Bridal Company was first started back in 2014. We can hardly believe it’s been that long- we’re so happy that our shoes and accessories have been a part of so many of your special days. From weddings to anniversaries, for brides, bridesmaids, mothers and guests we’ve been providing beautiful shoes, handbags, veils and accessories for ten whole years now- what an honour!

One of the many things we’re passionate about is bringing our customers all the latest trends from the world of bridal and occasion wear. Throughout the year we attend numerous trade shows where we monitor new trends and get plenty of inspiration for new collections. This means that whilst we have a distinct signature style, you will see changes from year to year as we update our collections. What this also means is that we’ve produced a really wide range of styles over the years and whilst some are just as in fashion as they were then, some may now look a little different!

To celebrate our ten year anniversary, we thought it would be fun to take a look through The Perfect Bridal Company archives and pull out our top ten bestselling and/or iconic shoes. Ten shoes for ten years, see what we did there? So here goes..

1.ROXY

Our first throwback is to our super sparkly Roxy platform, proving we’ve been bringing the glamour since 2014! Made in classic ivory satin, the hidden platform made the elegant high heel deceptively wearable! But it was the mixed size, scattered crystals and matching crystal heels which really made Roxy stand out from one of our earliest collections.

2. ESTA

We’ve tried to offer something for every bride over the years, whatever their style. So, from the super glamorous Roxy we go next to one for the vintage lovers. Vintage was a huge trend when we launched our pretty Esta mary jane so it’s no surprise it was a hit from the start! The floral ivory lace gave this classic round toe a really vintage feel, which was finished with an elegant tapered strap with button fastening.

3. FLO

Continuing the vintage theme (which was here to stay around this time!), we soon added our statement lace platform, Flo to the wedding shoe collection. A bold style, Flo combined oversized lace with a generous pearl cluster and sparkling diamante heel- more was most definitely more! For all her statement style, Flo was also surprisingly comfortable thanks to the clever hidden platform.

4. ESME

Whilst the vintage trend continued, after a few years it was more pared back and became a little more more chic. One shoe which demonstrates this beautifully is our classic Esme ivory t-bar. Here we introduced a pretty ivory satin and gold leather combination, with pretty tear drop detail on both the front and back of the shoe.

5. ELIZA

Marking a step change to our previously vintage style, Eliza epitomises the next direction The Perfect Bridal Company’s collection took next. Eliza takes a classic kitten heel point and upspecs it with a stunning, sparkling crystal ankle strap. This idea of elevated simplicity was a great hit and lead to many popular new styles of this kind joining the collection.

6. INDI

Where to start with the unique, iconic Indi. Since we launched this understated yet oh-so-effective style, Indi has gone on to be one of the most popular shoes in our history. Perhaps it’s the combination of classic ivory satin with a pretty see through embellished mesh panel… or the perfect point and wearable block heel…or maybe we all love Indi because she’s just a little bit special! Super versatile, Indi is made from dyeable satin so you can also choose to wear in any colour you like! Oh, and there’s also a wide fit version too.

7. CARRIE

Pearls continue to be a huge bridal trend and as ever, we were there at the start of the curve- leading the way in the latest wedding shoe looks. Carrie took the collection by storm when launched, thanks to the 3D, statement pearl embellishment. Sitting on a wearable block heel with a chic ankle strap, this ever popular style is also as comfortable as it is chic- the perfect combination of pretty and practical! In fact, Carrie has been so popular we’ve since introduced versions in both blush and mocha satin.

8. ELLA

Further developing the popular pearl trend, our bestselling Ella heels incorporate elegant ivory Keshi pearls on the ankle strap. Timelessly classic, the irregular shape and subtle irridescence of the Keshi pearls also gives this stunning shoe a soft, natural feel. Classic with a twist, Ella was so popular we soon introduced her sister lower heeled version, Ella Mid.

9. OAKLEY

Once again we were way ahead when it came to the latest bridal trends and were one of the first companies to launch a trainer specifically designed for weddings. Our infamous Oakley trainer is made from see through ivory mesh with a delicate embroidered floral pattern. The mesh not only gives this iconic style a designer, high end look but also gives a super breathable, lightweight feel during wear- comfy and cool, what more could you ask for?

10. CAMDEN

Which brings us up to the latest collection, with our super cool Camden platform. A move on from the classic bridal hidden platform, Camden has a statement chunky block heel and on trend square toe, not to mention a modern, square cut topline. As it that wasn’t enough, this utterly fabulous new style also comes with an oversized satin bow which is detachable, so you can create two different looks with one incredible shoe!
