Trend alert- short wedding dress, full length veil
Traditionally the length of your veil would be dictated by a few factors such as the style (and length) of your wedding dress, your venue and the overall look of the wedding. It’s no coincidence a cathedral veil is the longest you can get- in a venue that grand you need something equally impressive! Similarly if you were going for a shorter or tea length dress, you’d tend to go for a veil which sat about the hemline. Not any more.
A new trend which seems to be coming to the fore is to wear a full, floor length veil with not just tea length, but a short wedding dress. It’s giving us stylish sixties vibes, elevated to sheer elegance with the full length veil! One of the things we love about this trend is how much it shows off your veil and makes it a real feature of your bridal look. And that’s no bad thing, especially when you consider how many incredible new veil trends there are- what better way to take advantage than let your dress take a (slight) back seat and let your veil steal the limelight?

So with this short wedding dress with a full length veil trend starting to come through, we love the idea of trying different styles of veil with it. Simple but so effective, our new polka dot veil PBV9063 adds a touch of fun to any bridal look. Full length ivory tulle is embroidered with all over small polka dot, so from afar it looks like a gorgeous texture, but when you come closer the cute polka dot pattern reveals itself.

One for the romantics, new veil PBV9076 is made from soft ivory tulle which has been ornately embellished with trailing leaves and petals, finished delicately with pretty pearl detail. Completing the intricate design are soft 3D petals scattered amongst the design- a truly beautiful veil.
