Number 1 on a bride’s ‘to do’ list is likely to be finding the perfect wedding dress. And once this has been ticked off, the next step is to find the perfect shoes…or boots perhaps!
For most brides, boots may not have been considered, as dainty shoes or sandals are considered to be the most traditional option. But for those brides who like to be a little different, and make a memorable statement on their wedding day, bridal boots are a perfect choice.
From wellies to cowboy boots and ankle boots to shoe boots, there are a whole host of different options to suit your personal style, and the style of your wedding.
And the colour choices are endless! You could go for a bright colour, a subtle tan tone, or a traditional white or ivory. Or you could colour-match your bridesmaids, or flowers, or groom’s tie? Boots look gorgeous with tea length dresses, but can work equally well with full length gowns…just make sure you get a photo with your boots on show!
Boots are perfect for Autumn/Winter and outdoor weddings and they are a great choice for keeping feet warm, dry and comfortable.
Wellies are great for a wedding in a rural location, and cowboy boots are especially popular with brides in the US. And the image to the right shows how elegant they can look if you choose the right style of boot with the right dress and accessories.
